how often does she eat and when was the last time? how much time does she spend with her eyes closed? do you know how much she weighed 6 months ago?, do you know how much she weighs now? there is no doubt that your xanth is gravid, however there are a couple of items of concern: the eyes remaining closed even while being handled, as well as the overall dark coloration, is definitely a concern. in this thread from 2-1/2 months ago
https://www.chameleonforums.com/expect-babies-soon-36311/index4.html i posted pics of 2 gravid xanths, one with typical gravid coloration, and a gravid xanth with little to no gravid coloration. the one on the left with the typical gravid coloration, even though she does have the dark splotching of typical gravid colors she does not have the overall darkness that yours displays, also you will notice that both are clear eyes, and eyes wide open, despite their gravid state. due to poor conditioning, neither one birthed healthy, i am not trying to rain on the parade, but i am trying to give you a heads up, that there may be additional issues at play. getting them to have the babies is only a small part of the overall equation. jmo
