Will this leave a scar?

So I left my chams to my breeder when I went to holiday and my veiled has this on face. Is it possible he got that when he was breeding or do you guys have any idea what it could be. The main question is will he have scar?

That is strange looking. Almost looks a little like a burn, but with patterns of a scratch and then the tiny ?puncture? by his mouth. Your breeder had no idea what caused it?

If he was left in with the female it is likely a mating wound if you will. They do get scratches and what not depending on how it goes and position and all. It will not leave a noticeably scar.

Honestly I didn’t ask him. But I would suggest he won’t know because he has too many chameleons and other animals to be able to know what it could be probably and I dont blame him I just want to know if he can have a scar from that.

I'm not 100% sure but it looks to be a flesh wound of some sort because they get black when they get a scar. When my female veiled fell it left a black scar.
