Will my baby blue bar look like his dad?

Just wondering if a baby blue bar have the same colours as his father?

Not necessarily.. They can have some resemblance, but the chance of it looking just like the dad is not 100%. It'll have the genes of the sire, but can also portray the genes from the dame.

It's like breeding any other animal...maybe similar but not 100% the same.

I have seen some chameleons look very much like their parent and others not at all. Kinda luck of the draw I think!

i have pondered this myself

thinking back to highschool biology... i do believe depending what genes are dominant and which are recessive. also i think you can take a look at whoever sired the female if that makes sense as she should be carrying his color traits even though she will never show them

I bought a baby cham that the sire was a blue bar and it turned out to be a red bar

Thanks guys. I just wanted to see everyones opinion. I will post a few pics. A couple of my guy and a couple of his father.
