Warm water is definitely a good idea. Our cham likes if I lightly spray from the top. Small droplets fall through while larger drops form and then drop like rain.

My female panthers run like that warm or not males love it I mist them all once a day after mister mists all day every three hours two mins each time I'm not sure why

My guy used to seem to be afraid of it, but now he loves it. Makes sure you mist for a while.. he might just be scared of it initially, and then come around. That's what happened with me anyway.

I'd say hes just a bit concerned by the big scary hissy thing pokeing its nose into his territory my veiled would hiss at me as i misted, now he just sits there like "oh is it raining?"

Directly spraying not only stresses your cham out but can get him sick as well. What makes you think this is healthy for him?

I agree, you definitely do not spray him directly, can affect his eyes and I'm sure if the bacteria is right give him an infection in his eyes. Also stresses him out, I'm pretty sure unless its 110 degrees outside no one likes a cold shower lol...just saying

If it's a jacksons, yes, I do spray directly untill I see their mouths open and close, which means I know they are drinking!

I spay from the top, so it's like rain down on them and they love it.

Veiled I do not spray directly because they hate it. The water just beads on their skin and rolls off, very different from jacksons.

What do you think they do in Kenya when it monsoons, ware little rain coats and little umbrella's!!??
