my little elmo veilled 7mths old has only eaten 5 medium hoppers since sunday when i got him, is this just because hes settling in to new surroundings he looks healthy ,baskin well temps r at 83, using dripper, hoppers r all dusted, just wondering if he will b ok with not eatin alot, will he start to eat when he gets really hungry or should i try givin him somethin else.

thats more than what my jacksons ate for the first week that i had them. all they did was drink water. i would say hydration is more important right now. At least he is eating something though

im sure he will eat when he is hungry you should always offer a variety though like silks crickets hoppers dubia as staple and then give treats once and a while horns,butters ect.

He will be fine.
When I got my male veiled, it took him 5 days to eat anything of any substance.

He just needs time to adjust, settle in, and soon he will eat.

Just offer food, and make sure he always has water.
