Wild Chameleon Haunt SoCal

I read that there are wild jacksons chameleon in Laguna Beach, Im wondering if it's true. Has anyone in socal ever gone out to look for some?

I've gone with a few members with no luck. It has to be somewhere where there are a lot of bugs.

my friends gardener says that he sees them every once in a while in socal

go to slo new cal poly its hard to find them cause they hide really well but they are flourishing around in those hills.

We have a male Jackson's that we got from a family in Laguna Beach. They found him in the yard and looked for his owner but never found one. They kept him a year or so before they decided to give him away.

Whether he's really wild from a colony or just an escaped pet I don't know.
