Has anyone heard about the situation in Madagascar?

A coup has started in Madagascar. I wonder if anyone has heard how it might affect the trade from there

Obviously not the most important question, but it makes you think they may be unavailable from the wild for some time

That article is not what I want to be reading about Madagascar. Another coup is something Madagascar does not need.

This probably is going to affect Madagascar reptile exports. A coup throughs a wrench into the works of reptile and normal exports. This coup is just going to make reptile exporting that is already difficult more difficult.

I think I'm more worried about the forest being bashed down due to conflict, driving certain species more extinct.
