Why is his grip weak?

Murphy (7 month old nosy be male) eats and drinks completely normally and is really active. He's perfectly healthy besides the grip in his front feet. It seems to be weaker than normal, what could cause this? His back legs are fine and grip nicely, but the front legs seem to slip a lot. Any suggestions?

He is not perfectly healthy

Think about this--a creature that even sleeps while holding onto a branch should never be slipping off branches.
Today's post did not provide anywhere near enough information to make even a reasonable guess--however reading a past post of yours points to the problem:
No vitamin supplement for several months for a young, growing chameleon.
Your cham is surely suffering from multiple vitamin deficiencies and should be seen by a cham experienced vet who can inject him with the proper amount of the vitamins that he is in urgent need of.
Home remedies can easily do more harm than good, as vitamin overdoses can be fatal, so please take him to a good vet.
There's no shame in making a husbandry mistake--most of us have, usually as a result of poor or wrong information.
Now that you know he has a serious problem, you can get him proper treatment and hopefully he will fully recover. Be sure to let the vet know that he did not have vitamins for several months so he can properly treat your cham--blame it on a previous owner if it makes you less embarassed, but please get the little guy medical attention.
You are fortunate to have several reptile vets in Calgary.
This page lists them:

Please let us know how he fares.
