why does my chameleon do this?

Well, I sure wish I was as limber as she is! Could it be just a simple stretch or does it look like she's in discomfort? Hard to tell on the video

Forgive me for mentally providing cartoon voices to go along with her sock puppet show...

To me, it looks like she's pooping. It's hard to see in the video, but it looks like there's urate coming out of her vent. But then....there's a big light and a camera and okay, maybe she doesn't really need to go right now after all.

I have seen my chameleon use the bathroom before, but never with the strange leg streaching..do you think she could be dehydrated?I do see her drinking but I read that it was common in young chameleons..sigh. This is my first chameleon so I really don't understand a lot of why they do what they do, you'll have to forgive me if my questions seem stupid to you more experienced chameleon owners. I thank you for your patience with me thus far and hope that you will continue to allow me to learn from everyone.

Maybe she has that alien hand syndrome that some people develop...
In her case its alien foot syndrome...
The foot has a mind of its own.

Most likely she/he is either using the bathroom or just stretching.I wouldn't be to worried about it.

Looks like she might have over extended her leg and had to work it back into the joint.

I agree with this. She may have fell, or almost fell, and she did something to her leg?

Is she still using it?

Does she keep it elevated and not touching anything?
