Pilotman800 New Member Sep 30, 2011 #1 I've always wondered this... Why do their eyes get sunken in when they're dehydrated?
Dave Weldon Avid Member Sep 30, 2011 #2 Howdy Evan, Starting for the top:Sunken eyes is a sign that a chameleon is in a highly stressed condition. That highly stressed condition may be a health related issue. The health issue may be dehydration. Think of sunken eyes as the equivalent of human wincing (pain and suffering). Dehydration may exhibit as sunken eyes but sunken eyes doesn't mean that the health issues can only be dehydration .
