I have totally put this off because I hate having my pic taken. It won't stay up long.
I'm the girl who runs the Melleri Discovery site. Here's me at work. I don't have to wear heels or commute for hours. My hairstyle is the victim of practicality. Fellow artists, judge me not: my sweet Iwata is waiting for replacement parts, hence the stripped-down Paasche. And nothing exploded, the molding table behind me always looks like that. You should see the floor where I spilled a half gallon of clay slip.
Basically, I make fine ceramics and design toys/giftware for a living. I make 100-lb plaster molds off my original models to make the ceramics, and in most cases, the figures are cast whole, which is impressive if you know moldmaking. I have a 1/9 scale African elephant to mold next, and I am afraid it might kill me.

Here is one of my recent ceramic pieces:

It kinda gives ya a clue about why the MD is so detail-oriented. Yeah.
My old craptacular art site, I never update it. Stuff just ships out and I don't do html. My collector group is where all the action is.

He casts my resin prototypes for clients, and occasionally I do sculpting on models for his biz. He also casts my resin dinosaur kits. Some of you 501sters undoubtedly have seen us at various scifi shows and the like.
Yes, nerds are my people.
