I went through this thread from the beginning to see if I recognized any members from shows or other events I have been to over the years. After that I realized I am getting old thanks everyone. 20 years ago I was the young kid asking all the questions of the old-timers calling all times of the day and night and now I am one of the old-timers. I hate getting old. this is me with one of my lemurs and my binturong.

Interesting! What is a binturong? Are they legal to own or do you have to have a permit?

There is at least one member from Hong Kong and if I'm not mistaken Taiwan as well. I don't know if Greater China blocks this site or not but I would imagine they do as I have heard Chameleons are popular there and I haven't seen anyone from there.

I wouldn't worry about it though nobody here really cares about anyone's ethnicity only chameleon husbandry and cool animals...

Here is a recent one of me. As you can see, I like heavy metal and pretty ladies :p Along with reptiles, field herping (snakes and salamanders mainly in my area), anything to do with space, ancient civilizations, trying to keep my old ... skateboarding, and many other boring things.

Through out the years of raising different animals I have been lucky enough to get to know a lot of people with Zoos, private collectors and such that want something I have raised and were willing to trade or sell.

Interesting! What is a binturong? Are they legal to own or do you have to have a permit?
you can have them, they are in the Civet family also know as the bear cat. If you raise them you have to have a USDA permit but Heshe is not a breeder just an exhibit animal that I use to use for educating since Heshe was a hermaphrodite and could not breed.

They smell like buttered popcorn and yes they really do. There a few people here in the USA that raise them but they are an animal that breeds so slow and there are so few and no one wants to let theirs go because they are so cool.
