Who all works with Verrucosus?

Hello all-

Around this time last year, I made a choice that I have regretted since the moment I did it, traded away my Verrucosus pair. I know of a few people working with them, but as far as I know, only Chad (Vegas Chad) is still working with the species extensively. Is there anyone else doing so?

I havent seen any around since summer of 2010. Didnt you produce some cb babies? I thought Julirs was working with verrus? But dont quote me on that I may have gotten her confused with another member. They are still pretty uncommon in regards to captive breeding projects. I guess because the imports coming in are so damn cheap. Makes it harder to sell the cb's and break even on your expenses....

The wc's Ive seen that came in last yr were so badly beaten up and skinny/dehydrted I wouldnt take a chance on them. Good luck finding some you ought to see some coming in soon its the right time of yr.

Last time I went to Ben Siegel's reptiles in Deerfield Beach there were some (at least thats what I was told they were).

I have one egg left of the 13 egg clutch I had. It has been incubating for 10 months, and still looks a tad underdeveloped when I candle the egg. I am crossing my fingers for this, as I REALLY want this egg to hatch. We'll see what happens though.

Like I said I think Juli had some I dont know if she breeds them or not? Have you checked Fl Chams? Occas Mike has some wc's avail & I think he bred verrus at one time. I saw cb's advertised on his site once.

Little expensive for me. I got a GREAT WC young pair from Ben Siegal for $100, while FL Chams wants $150 for one.

I think you are confusing Julis. Cham1 worked with this species, but she hasn't really been as active as she used to be, so I am unsure of her progress. If Julirs got some, I never saw that, or knew that.

Your right its was Cham1 that had them. Ive never worked with Siegel before on a purchase. I see his ads on occasion I may have to give him a try one of these days. Pretty good quality on his imports?

Nothing against him, but I did buy a panther (CB) which turned out to have hypovitaminosis A. He did take it back, but I did lose some money on there. He usually has some nice specimens, and Danny (Lizardlover) takes care of them on Sundays.

I was VERY happy with the quality. I have never seen bad animals from him, they are always top notch. I got to hand-pick them, but the others were still very healthy looking, and I would have taken them all, had I had room for more
