White spot on my Cham's nose? Also, is this a healthy color?

So I recently got my first veiled Cham this week, her name is Karma. She is 8 months old.
There's a white spot on her nostril that has seemed to develop out of nowhere. Any ideas of what it is?

Also, her color has become very odd and gray since I inserted a new bulb in her terrarium. Previously she was always very green.

There was a UVB bulb in there previously, the fixture the previous owner gave us has one side that doesn't work. I thought one of the bulbs was broken so I went and purchased a basking light bulb from the pet store. I'm not sure what is more important until I get a new fixure/fix one side - the basking bulb or the UVB light?

Is her color this way simply because she is warmer now or is the heat harming her? Could it be something else?

Here are some pictures.

3 days ago, when I got her. Very green, without white spot:

First of all that is a male chameleon you have there and not a female!. The patterns and coloring are that of a male. He should also have little bumps on the back of his back heels. They are called tarsal spurs and only the male Veilds have them. I cannot see anything from the pic you posted really, but usually white around the nostrils is nothing to worry about. They will expel salts and minerals through their nostrils and it is normal. Sorry I looked at the second pic and not the first, but I see what you mean and yes that is normal and ok.

A male? I had a feeling it could be, but I'm no expert. I tried to see if s/he had a tarsal spur but I can't tell. I'm going to take a pic and post. That is very interesting.

The second picture is for sure the markings of a male. Unless you have a he/she or something! Please post pics of the back feet.

It could be a shed starting, too... if it spreads and starts to get little cracks in it and stuff you'll be able to tell. It'll spread through his whole body.

My Veiled started turning a bit grey yesterday and today he's starting his shed. :)

Yeah, I had a feeling it could be shedding. I won't worry too much. Can't wait to see him shed for the first time!
