White skin on jackson chameleon?

So please forgive me if I am using the terms incorrectly but I just cannot find any really good information on the physiology of a chameleon. Firstly i believe I am doing everything right, with temperatures, lighting, food etc. But for months now, my chameleon has had this white streak from his chin or Gular region, to his ventral crest. So from his chin and fades at his belly. It's been there for a long time now, and there are no signs of any illness or deficiencies with him. In fact he's been doing exceptionally well with me lately and hasn't shown any stress, or at least very little. What is this white colouration? Is it normal?

Is it possible that he just ate and his gular region is just stretched out a little bit. It doesn't look abnormal to me.

It was a bit stretched out in the photographs because of my camera right there, that is normal. But I am referring to the white colour that is always there, stretched out or not.
