White ring around nostril

My veiled has developed a white ring around one nostril, the left if that makes a difference.

I wrote a week or so ago I was concerned I was dusting too heavily with calcium (NOT calcium with D3).

I'm assuming this is the cause of the white ring? Maybe still dusting too heavy.

Just for a time line for myself, and again, assuming it "is" over dusting, if I started doing it perfectly today, how long would something like this take to run it's course and the ring dissapears? Days, weeks?

could it by chance just be a mineral or salt secreation ? only other thing i could think of is a RI but youl will have to have someone with better knowledge chime in

So far I've only used filtered water for the dripper, hand misting and in the Mistking.

its not an RI. that is not a symptom of one.
