white cask

i'm not sure, but has anyone noticed a link between white casks and calcium intake in their chameleon? when i cut back on my males calcium (how much or which insects to dust) i notice his cask will turn almost completely green but if i give him more calcium his cask starts to turn very white. usually i dust the crickets only, and then just a light dusting but when i say feed him four crickets dusted, 2 superworms, 2 silkworms, 1 hormworm and a butter worm, i notice his cask will turn more green if he eats less insects that are dusted with the repcal without d3. in the previous example it seems to be a good balance for him but i don't want him to lack calcium at the same time. anyway just curious if anyone noticed a link between white casks in male panther chameleons, or if its my imagination.
