As I’ve excitedly been posting, Rango is now in a new, very large and improved cage (XL reptibreeze//2x2x4).
I already knew it was coming… but Rango is not eating. In an attempt to not stress him as he adjusts, I have been setting a bowl of mixed bugs (roaches & 1–2 superworms as they cannot jump out), dusted with calcium of course, onto a stable branch for him to view and potentially eat.
Two superworms have been eaten as of the last two days. They’re the only thing he’s picked at, for… some reason. He usually loves his dubias… but they don’t move very much, thus why I usually add a superworm or two (to stir them around).
Anyway, when should I expect Rango to be eating regularly again? I’m a bit nervous for him.
Side note: Rango climbed into my hair willingly today! I was gently correcting a fallen branch when he stepped onto the front of my head, before turning around and retreating. Is this a sign of proper trust being built at last?
