Which Feeder Sizes?

Im so confused i dont know which size to get for spike. Hes 8 months old preety big for his age im getting dubias and hornworms. do i get nymphs for feeders i was hoping to start a colony im buying from the roach ranch also small medium or large hornworms?

Buy small hornworms so they don't grow too fast to feed. Buy 80-90 adult or closest to adult to start a colony. Buy small or medium nymphs for feeding.

Make sure your colony has a 5:1 female:male ratio if you can help it.

On the roach ranch which i know pssh your familiar with they sell nymphs from extra small to large then they sell mixed nymphs with a few adults, also you can buy an instant colony which should i do?

I'd buy 80 females and 10-15 males if you can. They give you an 20% overcount everytime so you get even more. Most of the females are already pregnant so you'll start to see babies quickly and after about two months they should be about feeding size.

If you just want to get some to feed off, buy small or mediums. Or you can buy enough for a colony AND get some for feeding.

My colony has about 70-80 females and a good 15 males with hundreds of nymphs right now.
