I think this is very funny and i think cheeky so you can have a point
I think if yo want to buy a chameleon this is a good site for you.
Chameleons are very "special" so do not worry if lots of shedding or not much shedding i think. if difficulty shedding then i advice more mmisting.

Repashy is my favorite. Every breeder that I have been in contact with uses it too. Make sure that whatever you are ceding your Cham is healthy. Such as crickets should be gut loaded with repashy the day before you feed your Cham. You can also provide whatever you feed your Cham with fresh fruits and veggies. You will really notice a difference in the breeders who do use fresh and the ones who don't!

How much supplement to use is highly dependant on your particular husbandry situation. It depends on what feeders/prey you offer the cham, what you feed to that prey, what type of lighting you use, the potency (what is in) the brands of supplements, etc.

Calcium, D3, phos and vitamin A are all players in bone health and other systems in the chameleon and need to be in balance.
IMHO...dusting with a phos - free calcium powder at most feedings is done to make up for the usually poor ratio of calcium to phos found in most insects used as feeders. (I use rep-cal).
IMHO the idea is to provide some D3 from supplements (by using it lightly twice a month..I use rep-cal) but not as much as it (the chameleon) needs in total and leave it to produce the rest from its exposure to the UVB. As long as the chameleon can move in and out of the UVB it should not produce too much D3 from its exposure to the UVB but D3 from supplements is ready to go and can build up in the system so you want to be careful with it.
Also..light passing through a window (glass) or plastic will not provide the UVB needed.
When it comes to vitamins...I use one (herptivite) with a beta carotene (prOformed) source of vitamin A (twice a month) so that there is no concern of overdosing the chameleon with vitamin A while providing the other vitamins needed and leaving it up to the owner to decide how often to use a prEformed source or whether to use it at all.
Vitamin A comes from prOformed sources (such as beta carotene) and prEformed sources (such as retinol, acetate, animal sources, etc.). PrOformed sources are converted as needed by the body...and its uncertain how well chameleons can convert it or even whether some species can convert it at all. PrEformed sources are ready to go and excesses of them are stored in the body and can build up unlike the prOformed.
There is still the question of what is too much...and I can't give you a definite answer to that. I can only tell you what I do and how long/well my chameleons live with that care.

thank you everyone for the advice i will dust lightly with D3 2ce a month and use non d3 calcium couple times a week and see how it goes... I have one more question which is worrying to me.. Ive noticed that when my cham sits on a perch which is thin twig like he hangs of it... it looks like hes just chillin there with his body off the perch and his legs dangling in the air.. if i come near the cage hell get up but it seems this is his favorite spot to bask and also enjoy the uvb... is this normal ..maybe he just likes to relax or is it because he cant support his weight or something?
Chachachameleon - grow up. People who are very knowledgeable have corrected on your misleading information. Too much D3 is indeed potentially harmful. You only have a weak grasp on the concepts being discussed so please invest some time in fully understanding the subject before making immature comments and personal insults. Posts that break rules will be promptly removed.
