Where did you mount your Misting pump?

Just installed my Mistking. Nice. Sure they run quiet, but when put the pump on a metal wire rack where my cages are on they vibrate like hell. I think my Chams think there is an earthquake. Any suggestions? I zip tied it and such, but it shakes.

The vibrations are 99% of the time from the lines, not the pump. Secure your lines using the provided keepers, and you will be fine. If you are using a "Zip-Drip System" it in itself can vibrate, you can minimize this by placing a piece of foam or a folded wash cloth beneath the valve.

I have mine sitting on the wire shelf and have zero issues with vibrations.

Well I have an older pump, so it might be the more powerful one. Not sure. It's definitely vibrating from the pump because I held the pump and it shakes. I don't have the no drip, but I do have the same metal rack setup you do. I have it on the same shelf as my bucket, so that might not help.

I see, Have you tried mounting it to a wood board and then placing it on the carpet of floor?

I guess if it's vibrating that bad, you have got to keep it off the rack all together.
