when to place nesting box?

My female cham just turned 6 months old a couple days ago and was wondering: what signs should i look for on her ? Will she change color ? Or should i just put it in there and she will use it when she is ready?

I agree. At that age she probably won't develop eggs just yet but it's coming in the next few months so you should add it now. My panther has very subtle clues when she's about to lay eggs. If I waited until it was obvious I'd miss it because sometimes that doesn't happen and she would be in trouble so I leave her laying box in her cage 24/7/365.
