When to decrease food?

I know right now my baby boy Ryker should be eating a lot XD and boy is he. Around 20 cricks a day. (though I only say crickets as I assume this is what all his other food rounds up to too) Being a 5 month old hybrid panther makes one oh so hungry.

But I am wondering at what age I should start decreasing the amount of food he has. And when I do how much should I decrease it to when he's 9 months and then what should he be at, at 18 months? Or will he stop eating so much naturally?

I just don't want him to gain weight and become unhealthy.

Thanks Andee ^^

Your cham will let you know when hes ready to do every other day feedings.

When he stops eating everyday for several weeks in a row, its time to switch.

It normally occurs somewhere around 8+ months. But that doesnt mean when he hits 8 months do every other day feedings.

As for the only crickets thing, you need to feed more than one type of bug, or they do go on hunger strikes.

try looking on some of our site sponsors to find other appropriate sized bugs.

Oh I'm feeding hornworms and roaches too, though I'm waiting for some breeder roaches to start some babies... It's hard finding the right sized roaches anymore in my group T^T I don't want him to choke

Thankks for the help XD I'm glad I don't have to worry about it so much then
