When candling how old are eggs before you see first veins?

My ladies aren't old enough to lay but I have been reading all about eggs... fascinating! I had raised game birds and chickens before and always had fun candling eggs but they progress sooo much faster. Some quail hatch in just 16 days so veins were prominent quickly. I was just wondering how long it takes chameleon eggs to show. I'm pretty sure I'd be chicken to candle them much , if ever but it's very interesting to me.

You can often tell if the eggs are fertile by looking at them...color, size, etc. I've never candled chameleon eggs in my 30+ years of keeping them. (I have candled other reptile eggs though.) If you do it, you don't want to turn/rotate them while doing it or leave the lid off the container for long.
