what's wrong with her??

No she not has eggs... For now. the color is normal she isn't stressed she is showing her juvanile colors after this when she get six months old she first showing receptive color green with light blue spot and big yellow points, after this she start to develop eggs and you can see when she got eggs. You can wait other 2 months before to setup a Laying bin. I suggest to use topsoil as substrate and put a 18x18x12 square bin in the cage.

I just made a temporary laying bin for her just in case. I used Eco earth

Very special n do not stress her out especially a single mom gets stress pretty easily.

I thought that was clutch size? Does it affect how often too? And also heat plays a factor. You want your basking spot about 85 F
Yes,it depends on how much lovely feeder u giving her, recommend normal feeding at first cause the egg bound with the c section wont be pretty, the veiled female can be a laying machine but also hard on her health, especially after she laid...

And u are correct ,the heat is a important factor ,no mom like to be gravid when her body is cold n the belly too

she has been basking for like 20 minutes and nobody has been in the room no dogs or anything but she is extremely stressed out and puffed up. what is wrong with her? the first pic is from this morning and the second one is from right now. I'm worried. any info would help. thanks

I got her on wednesday

I think you may find that her comfort level in her new home has not yet been established and she is still frightened by you. After all it has been less than a week since she joined you. In the second photo she appears wide open to predation with no place to hide. Thus with no place to hide and possibly frightened by your presence her instincts have kicked in in self defence.
