Whats the skinny?

Disco is by no means under fed...I keep crickets in his cage, because he keeps eating them. He is not on a hunger strike, but sometmimes when he is walking he looks like he is "sucked up" or really skinny. Other times he looks like a cow on a branch. Do you all ever notice your chameleons changing in size like this? It looks unhealthy when he goes anerexic on me like that and I worry over the littlest things...is it normal?

yea they do that.
my guy is not underfed, but he can go from anoerexic to a fat cow in seconds.
they puff up to get heat, or get skinny or fat when pissed.

yes they do, when shedding often to get the skin off their face.
maybe once in the morning....

but if he is keeping his mouth open, and hes not hissing or trying to bitee..
it could be hes too hot, or he has a respiratory infection.

Thanks for the heads up! He is in a huge cage so if he gets to hot from his lamp he is able to move away...but how do chams usally obtain respitory infections?
