Hello
Please can some
One advise what type or brand of sand should
Be used in the container so that the Cham does not hold on to her eggs. This is not for breeding purposes just so she does not hold on to them. I want to be prepared

Thanks, justine, uk

i was told play sand like sand for a sand box but i wouldnt go 100% on what im saying just telling ya what i was told

I use a mixture of eco earth and play sand as it is lighter for them to dig through than damp sand alone. It needs to be moist enough to hold a tunnel, so it doesn't collapse on her whilst she is digging/laying.

I also use a mix, but just sand will work. I think a bit of earthy stuff in there makes it a bit more comfortable for them, just a bit more natural........

the reptile shop said that ''Hatchrite'' will be okay? i only want her to lay the eggs not breed her. This okay for my yemen?

Hatchrite is used for incubating the eggs not for the laying bin. Just pick up a bag of sand at Walmart, Home Depot or Low's IMHO that works best.

This is what I use haven't had any problems.
