What to do with a 20 long???

i have a 20 long in my room that was orignally a planted fish tank but I didnt like the whole planted tank thing. I cant think of any really cool fish that i could put in there. i need some suggestions on what to do with it. i was thinking matata turtle but the tank is too small.

Some smaller geckos like leopards would be cool. Or if you want to keep fish, go with a group of (most) hypancistrus Genus Plecos and breed them. Most babies sell for about 30 bucks each. With some Like L399 going up to 80-100, and zebras selling for 250.

Easy to find are L260, L262, L136, L316, L333, L287, L066, and if you have the cash, H. Zebra.

If you go with the larger hyps like L333 you can only fit 3 in a 20L but 6 of the smaller ones like H. zebra or L136.

Well would a matamata fit in the tank? A local reptile shop has two CB matamatas for 300 that have an 8-9 inch carapace length.

Just in case I'm confusing some of you with the L number thing.

The L numbering system for plecos was created by the German publication called DATZ. These plecos are still pretty new to science and the species identification and naming process is so slow, they had to come up with some way of Identifying them for the hobby. L numbers refer to over all appearance of the fish and it's collection point. It can get a little confusing as the numbers are not set in stone and can be reassigned. Some species have several numbers assigned to them just because it was found in another non connected tributary/river/ditch. Some lose the number after it's been identified by science. That's why the common pleco (there are 2 of them) doesn't have an L number.

The system wasn't meant to be permanent but has become so popular with hobbyist it is here to stay.

corn snakes can be kept in a 20 gal long, there easy to take care of, and honestly have the best personalities lol
if your not into snakes ummmm maybe some tomato frogs, or newts!

It is funny how every one says how cornsnakes are so nice. But when I started working a this petshop and dealing with snakes for the first time. Some guy brought in one and I was putting it away and she it me pretty good. (It may have been because she just laid eggs though)

haha yea after my corn's laid eggs last year they were sort of grumpy for a month so thats not a big surprise...but recently one of my younger corns escaped, and 8 weeks later i found him and he still showed no signs of being aggressive
it was weird because normally when they are hungry they will bite anything that moves lol
