hey, im probably going to be getting a carpet chameleon or 2 in the upcoming weeks and i was wondering what a good sized enclosure would be i was thinking 18 by 18 by 36 as they are a smaller species... thanks

I think this is a good sized cage. You could do a 24 x 36" as well if you wanted to. But I have the 18" x 36" cages for my pair.

I was also going to get a male carpet myself. I have an 18x18x36 ready to go. Could a male and female go in there with tons of foilage? (I know I am asking for all kinds of opinions.)

from what i know if the enclosure is large enough then they can be housed in pairs or one male 2 females but if your doing this their has to be enough foliage so their not always looking at each other. Its ofcourse better to keep them alone but it can be done in pairs or trios. i think you would also have to have 2 basking spots and watch if the females get gravid and aggresive. from what ive read. i would also like a second opinion on this:confused:

My juvi panther is about to grow out of his 16x16x30. I was going to use this for a carpet (female or male, i havent decided yet..) I have read that even this size will be good for one, can someone confirm?

To answer your Q I'm sure an 18x18x36 would be good through adulthood from my research
