what sex is my panther?

Hello chameleon family!

After looking after a friend's panther for a weekend I fell in love with chameleons and have lovely baby panther of my own. By looking at the other threads I think I'm the proud parents of a little girl but I'm new to sexing chameleons! Please could any one help?

Could you get a closer picture of the base of the tail? It is hard to tell from these pictures.

Also, I see in the last picture it looks like the red backing light is inside the cage??? Please take this out immediately as it will cause burns and at this age they will most likely be life threatening!

I advise you to read over the care sheets under the resources section and make sure you have everything nailed down

Thank you, the pet shop guy said we needed a night light but it has now been removed! The care sheets have been a great help

I'm feeling male, since the tail has no bulge and no indent.

I would say female as I don't need any bulge. What happened to her tail, was that from the pet store?
