Veiled chameleons are better kept alone IMHO. Housing different species together complicates things in several ways....
One can stress the other out.
If the two come from different areas, then you may be bringing in germs/parasites that one can not handle.
Even two from the same species that were imported on separate occasions can carry different parasites/bacteria with them and pass it to the other or between themselves.
