I hope the previous owner wasn't a breeder LOL There is no way he is a Nosy Be.
However there are a lot of Mitsio out there right now that were mixed with Ambilobe (apparently accidentally). IIFF he has Mitsio in him, you will know it if he turns almost a complete yellow.
If not, then he is Ambilobe IMO

agreed ^^ I see some mitsio in there and blue barred ambi is definitely a possibility too. he still looks good though, id just be bummed that the seller was either misinformed / lied to me

I was thinking ambilobe too, his colours are only just starting to come out, he was a really bright yellow just before i took the pic but he seen the camera and toned it down haha! He was a really bright orange under his chin as well... He looks different everyday.
I am a little p'ed off that I've been thinking hes a nosey be but im loving his colours so I'm not complaining

if he has bright yellow and orange under his chin then he could have some mitsio in him, just got to wait and see with panthers

My panther is a Nosy Be X Ambilobe cross, and he used to look like that when he was young. He also changes bright orange/yellow with blue to red/green with blue bars.
