What locale is this?

Hi all

Anyone out there wanna put me at ease as im about to buy a pair of these and would like to know what you guys think it is. I know already but want to hear it from others to be sure as these are extremely rare!!!

faly?????? Not an expert but have looked at the profile of Tamatave and i agree with Ryan... Blurred U bar, slight yellow lip, redy orange background with white face.

Tamatave has more orange. Anyone heard of cap est or east ( ost, im in Germany! ) masoala?


masoala and Maroantsetras have more orange I think you may be confused. Thats a Tamatave in the picture.

Edit : Who know maybe I am the one that is confused.

So its not east masoala? I think the European version must be different. type masoala into google images search and you see many of these. They are also known to you American guys as cap est.

Yes I understand. What I see in the picture is a Tamatave. I am not expert but the descriton that I know to be Tamatave fits that picture exactly. I see green he is fired up. Show a picture of him at rest he will show lots of green.
 
he is captive bred, hes only 3 months old at the moment, the pic is of the sire!:D

I wish I knew for sure. I may be the one who is confused. Maybe someone will chime in that can provide some more info. I would love to see the sire when he is relaxed.

I have to say no matter what it is that sire is amazing.
 
he isnt orange at all, just red and white. the pic isnt too good to be honest. he looks like NOSY BORAH to me. anyone agree? He is a lot brighter red in the flesh. Nobody here in Germany breeds them, except My friend and hopefully me!:D
 
St. Marie is my only guess. That much white in those signatures?

Tamatave whites are speckled and thrown on there... The whites on that guy are thick and nicely pieced together...
