He appears to be a beautiful Nosy Be, where did you get him?

I live in Mexico, i bought it down here from a guy who claimed this is a wc and was brought from a contact directly from Madagascar i also have a female and she is brwon/orange with blue dots. Here is another photo of my cham lets see if it helps.

I would wager Nosy Be, but there are other localities that can turn out heavily saturated with green.

Yeah that i know, thats why i wanted your opinion. He really glows when you see it in person specially when stressed but its like this blue turqoise/greenish/ florecent color, and the nosey bes i've seen everywhere are completly blue. Also he show this yellowish on the bottom/belly specially when at night. So im a bit confused with this.

Nosy be, upwards from 8 months old I would say. Scottsquatch is right, true blue nosy be's have been mostly selectively bred. Nosy be occur in nosy be in Madagascar and on reunion island. Nosy mitsio however are only found on nosy mitsio island as far as I know so not much chance of a wildcaught mix between the 2.

A second guess may be nosy faly but they are generally a lot more white with red.

I would lean more toward nosy be too. Green lantern during the day will show colors ranging from similar to his sire, Nova from the chameleon ranch, to more greenish/blue/ deep turquoise with black bars. Blue lightning depending on his moods will show colors similar to your pics. He's shown me a range from greenish body with bright blue bars to solid turquoise to greenish blue with black bars. His sire was Mr Teal from @Matt Vanilla Gorilla. Rogue from Canvas Chameleons and Nova from The Chameleon Ranch both show "electric" greens in some of their pics. Though I would guess based on the pic with your hand 6-7 months, I'll leave that guess to the old timers lol.

Well, nosy mitsio are green with yellow, or if it's wild caught it could be a natural intergrade between Nosy Mitsio and Nosy Be. Also, a lot of people are not aware of this, but the original imported Nosy Be were actually mostly green with bluish highlights. They were selectively bred for the blues.

I actually have a nosey Mitsio my self and they look totally diferent, Koopa turns yellow.with orange when he is fired up. Seems like my new little guy it is a nosey be i was just not sure wince they are lots of hybrids now days hard to be 100% sure. Here ks a photo of my Mitsio

Your nosy mitsio looks pure to me.

Unfortunately we can't tell what locale a female might be. The only way you will know she is nosy be is if you breed them and the males show typical nosy be colours.

Here is a photo update

He's going to be a handsome boy. I'm still going to say probably nosy be. To elaborate on my post from before on the range my oldest nosy be male (blue lightning) shows me. I've seen everything from these four pics to the one in my avatar.. He's about 14 months now and the avatar pic was from late Feb.

Yes, those are all Blue Lightning. The very first was his arrival pic. The second was after he had been here for a little bit and had accepted my wife. The third was when he was upset with my wife a few weeks later. The fourth was one of his outside times of course lol.

That set of pics looks more like a hybrid to me. Nosy be x ambilobe possibly. @Matt Vanilla Gorilla have any thoughts on that male?

He's a handsome little guy for sure. We feel the same with Blue lol. He is our first and will spend the rest of his days with us no matter what lol. In contrast, here is the progression of green lantern, my other male nosy be and a pic of his sire Nova from The chameleon ranch. His sire was one I mentioned in the first post about having electric greens. Green lantern is around 5/6 months now. 20180201_115307.jpg 20180225_150311-1.jpg 20180324_122532-1.jpg Screenshot_2018-03-09-15-01-41.png
