carol5208 Chameleon Enthusiast Apr 25, 2012 #2 looks like a grasshopper to me. There is one type of grasshopper that is poisonous but I don't think that is the one. I would not feed it unless you are 100% sure. Wait and see if someone else can confirm it is safe to eat.
