What kind of bug is this??

looks like a grasshopper to me. There is one type of grasshopper that is poisonous but I don't think that is the one. I would not feed it unless you are 100% sure. Wait and see if someone else can confirm it is safe to eat.

Its beautiful, and delicious looking!

That is what I call a Katydid. We have brown and green ones here, they dont get that big though!

Everything Ive read says they are good feeders, and I feed them without issues.

Not that Ive been doing that for very long...
