What kind of screening for crickets?

Traded 200 dubia for 500 crickets, first time with a large order of crickets. The bastards ate through the screen used for ventilation, found atleast 10 around my room.

Which kind of screening should I use? Could use some advice on what to do for patch work temporarily? Grateful for any help :)

I think the term is 1/8ths and 2/8ths? Basically between 1/4th and half inches. Had they been closer to an inch it woulda been more like 50-100 for 500 lol.

Yeah I read they can't chew through charcoal, of which this is wrong. Guess its another trip to Ace in the morning- Heres to hoping they have aluminum screening.

Thanks.

Yeah I have the same problem with my smaller cricket bin. I'm OK with the larger one 'cause the sides are too high for them to get to the top, but on the smaller one, I had a few escapees last night and this morning noticed a couple of holes in the screen. I hate crickets  but roaches are not legal in Canada (I think ) so... I guess it's a trip to the hardware store for me too!

I considered throwing my whole bin in the freezer and just feeding off roaches! They don't wiggle enough for my guy though, he'll only eat 1-2 first thing cause hes 'starving'.
