What is your opinion on reptirariums?

So i am buolding my chams enclosure, and i was ordeing some stuff from LLL, and i was thinking, i already have a 38 gallon repterarium sitting at home( 16.5 16.5 by 30, for a baby yemen) So i was just wondering if it would be ok to use, when he moves into his big boy enclosure ill get him a metal screen one.

Everyone here will recommend the LLL reptiles screen enclosures!!!! try search on the forum for threads...there are a lot about screen cages!

Good luck!

I have Reptariums in every size and there are advantages to using them. I use them on species that need to have a little more humidity, on species that are shy. I do use screen cages for adult Panthers and Veileds-they like the visibility out. They are a great starter cage so that you have a second to use as a sunning cage or when cleaning. 38 gallons are perfect for juvie Veileds and Panthers. I think if you already have one, then it will work great! Then-when your cham grows, you can buy the big screen cage and you are good to go.
Here are the Reptariums that I am currently using:
175 gallon-Chinese Water Dragon
100 gallon-juvie Mellers
65 gallon-vision impared Oustalet
Five 38 gallons-3 juvie Veileds, 1 Side-stripe, 1 female Veiled
