What is this?

Has anyone ever seen this? I don't think it's poop cuz it's not coming off when she walks on the plants.

It might be a small infection.. or maybe some dried on dirt?

It kinda looks like a cut off umbilical cord if she was human..

Have you touched it to see if it's just something stuck on there? I can't imagine it being anything else.

Yes I did but it won't come off.

Kent, It sure looks like that, but I thought this cham was a few months old.

5 or 6 weeks tops! (maybe 7) Unless it's been severly undernourished.
I don't normally guess ages of babies ... but that is a baby!

The veiled looks very young. It is very possible it is what is left of the umbilical cord. It should fall off shortly.

That *IS* the remnants of the umbilical cord. Don't touch and let it be, it will fall eventually.
