What is the right age for Pinkys?

So I want to feed Jose his first pinky but I'm not sure how old or how big he is supposed to be before he can eat one. I know it's not recommended but I want to give him a special treat for dealing with my newbie experience being as he is my first chameleon. He is 7 months and at a decent size I would say.

So you want to give him something you know is bad to apologize for being a newb. Treats are worms.

Why do you have to be rude about it? This is the second time you've been stuck up about a simple question, I'd appreciate it if you just be mature and keep the comments to yourself. Thank you.

I'd appreciate if in your head you didn't read my text as rude, stuck up, etc. That is not how it is typed, meant, or should continue to be read. Would it help if I added a :D or a :p?

if its the guy in your picture, you can always give him some watermelon, or something like that too. Thats my guys favorite is some nice juicy fruit. Honey dew especially. That always makes a good treats as well. If you stuck on feeding baby mice then so be it. Seems like you already have your mind set. Its just sounds funny " i know its not recommended but I want to feed my chameleon a pinky for me being a newb. That doesn't make much sense honestly.

Why don't you just stick to other bugs as treats? Pinkies may have too much protein that may cause a digestive/liver problems. I think that is what I have read before anyways...but then again is your pet so you can do what you want with it...

if its a pinky it doesnt have bone yet !!!!!!! i wouldnt recommend but its god to feed different food fruits are good to !!!

Well, for wild dogs when would they find crunchy dog food around the wild? When would cats find canned slimy food in the wild? I know they have been domesticated, but our chameleons have been domesticated in a way too.
