Have two little Yemen Veileds about 6 weeks old. Had them for less than a week. They are in a plexiglass cham enclosure about 1 foot tall. There are slits cut into each side of the enclosure. One of them is constantly walking on those and staying on the left side of the tank and other one is either at the top or the last few days will go sit at the bottom moss by a plant and disguise himself brown. They are a bit odd in behavior than the first few days. When i turn on the UVB they start walking around every where. If i spray in the tank they seem to take off for the hills and wander around a while. The behavior doesn't seem relaxed walking it seems like trying to find a way out. Especially the one who hangs on the side of the tank she keeps going back and forth and seems like to get out thru those slots. I put tons more sticks in for climbing so if they don't like each other they can still be at the top of the tank with unconnected sticks. The 'side climber' definitely goes down to eat worms but seems like the other one isn't interested in participating in going down to eat. I'll try sticking a worm on a chopstick like i did a few days ago just to make sure he's eaten.
Is there a period of time where they might at odd or scared before they settle in? I think most annoying is my little one, named LG, trying to get through those slits.
