what does shedding means?

as the title suggest. what does it mean when my cham actually shed? does that means that the air is too dry, not enough humidity? he is growing? any possible answer? thanks

it happens when they grow. chameleons skin is made of a waterproof material called keratin, which doesnt expand/ grow. when a chameleon grows, the old skin sheds off. hope this helps!

They are just growing and there old skin just comes off. Its totally normal.

Make sure you mist your chameleon about twice or 3 times a day to make sure he/she has no problems with shedding.

I have many babies doing this at the moment.
