what do you think of the free range?

so ive set up this free range, what you all think?

only problem is that he goes really dark colours when he is on it any ideas why?

I think it looks great!! Is he young or is the cage small or is the FR huge? Lol

My guy was dark and I moved the light closer so he'd get more heat he lightened right up. Or he could just be getting used to it nervously. But looks like lots of fun!

He is 5 months. The cage is 76cm tall but the FR goes from floor to ceiling!
Hopefully it's just him nervous and not him disliking it

What type of plants are those?

That equates to 29 to 30 in. Tall. I think thats a little small Id start shopping for a big.boy cage.. but with free range time it'll do for now. No cham hates more room to roam. Give him time to et used to It.. also he will turn dark when cold.. so see wat the temps are and move some lights closer accordingly.

Ye I think in a few weeks I will upgrade him to an adults size cage.

The plants are fuchsia and devils ivy a type of pothos.

What size UVB light? If its a 10.0 it needs to be raised up 6+ inches to avoid overexposure and UVB burns. A lot of chameleons are dark in coloration when they are just content and not stressed. If temp and lighting are correct, a dull chameleon is usually a happy chameleon!
