Give him lots of extra water and soft bodied feeders for a couple of days. Also, I've noticed that my chams tend to poop if I put them in full warm sun/bright outdoor light. If the dirt didn't have any larger clumps of perlite, bark, or other stuff it may go through OK.

Feeding him silk worms and horn worms will help,
also if he doesn't poop in a couple days some time a shower will encourage bowel movement.

But I wouldn't be freaking out too much if I were you, if its pretty fine soil.
Pedro ate dirt as a juvi for a bit untill I noticed it and covered the soil with rocks.

i suggest bigger rocks for one, i use smooth riverstones...and if you are worried about impaction maybe feed him some horn or silk worms and keep up misting/dripping......maybe a shower too

I use all organic soil and the stones are pretty big each one weighs about as much as he does. Do you think wax worms would work I've had trouble finding silk and horn worms in my area.
