what are these spots?

Let me know if I'm correct here. Dark colors mean the chem is stressed bright colors are happy?
I've had my male veiled about 3 weeks now. I've never seen hime do this. He had green spots all over him. His overall color was bright but the spots were a little darker green then the rest of him. They even went over his yellow bars.
Sorry I don't have a pic. I was wondering if anyone had any idea what he was trying to say? I will add it did look really cool. I just hope its nothing bad.

He looked just like that but he didn't his or anything. The only thing I can think that might have made him mad was I moved around a bunch of his vines so when water drips on them it would hit a lot not just one or two. That's all I can think of b.c he was in the room alone when I noticed it.

So I guess bright doesn't always mean happy huh?

It depends on what you mean by bright. Pan is neon green and a more yellow green when he seems to be content but he gets intense spots and his color shifts a bit when he is angry at me or anything else. He also doesnt always hiss, he just puffs up a bit.

Some times Pan is just funny and changes colors at what seems to be random times. I'm sure there's a reason, but only he knows
