hey everybody

Haven’t been on here in a while but back to get some info on my Cham bubba
He’s going on 2 in June.

He eats every other day so 3 times a week 12-15 crickets powders with calcium every feed and reptivite with d3 once a week

Temperature ranges between 78-87 and humidity ranges in the 70s sometimes drops into the 60s if I’m not home.

I use a 5.0 fluorescent tube and 50 watts heat bulb. I have the heat lamp on for the first 3 hours 9-12and on for a hour at 6pm and all lights off a quarter before 9. Also I spray water 3 times a day.

So my question is regarding the dark spotting on bubba ???? which you should see in my first pic which was shot during sleeping hours. He also has the same spotting on his two front arms it’s all cloudy white when he is up what do you guys think this is???

I’m also leaving a pic of his home for any advice on what can be done better.

Looks like a burn to me. Do you know what your basking temp is?

I just checked in a I got readings of a bit over 90 I’m actually on my way to buy a different bulb. I just bought this different brand and 90s is way different than the temp my old bulb was giving off so I’m going to get that one again it had temps no higher than 85-87. Would that be okay or should I go lower than that ? Also aside from that would you say bubba looks like that average veiled I’ve been wonder if maybe I’m feeding to much. He seems pretty big but this is my first

I dont know a lot about veileds but i thought their basking spot could range from the mid 90s to 100. Whereas panthers range from 84 to 88. I use a 60 watt white househols bulb for basking and have it lifted a few inches off the top of the cage as my little guy likes to climb on the screen. Altogether its about 7 inches from the actual basking spot.

Thanks for your advice wildwilson.
I just changed my heat bulb lowering the wattage. Will be testing the ranges of the temp in the morning and we’ll see from there.

Really appreciate your help !!
