What Am I?

So the quest that can probably only be solved by time to figure out what local this cham is continues. Long story short its a pet store cham, I took it in on trade for some work I did.

His wholesaler sent him a "Sambava" and an "Ambilobe" unmarked, this guy clearly isn't a sambava, and neither is the other one who is still there.

He's probably 4-5 months old. I've had him since april 15th.

Anyways, its all speculation at this point.. but that can be fun..

ha ha there is a good chance. Unless his local develops as obviously one thing or another, I certainly won't breed him ever.. As crosses certainly aren't something I want to perpetuate.

Looks like a Nosy Be or Ambanja, or a cross between them.
Also, if it appears to be one or the other as an adult, you still can't be sure, as it is possible that the cross offspring could look like mom or dad.

I just hate it when someone beats me to it on what I wanted to say. Thanks Chuck. I was going to say a little cutie on a fuzzy.

hahah chuck your short and brief comments never fail to crack me up. Chequepoint, make another thread in two months, because at this point, no one is really going to tell.

Oh I know, and I will. Its just fun to have people put their bets in. I'm not out any money on him, there were no promises made, its just sheer curiosity. Its a great example of how these animals end up in pet stores.. The wholesaler calls up the store and goes "Hey, we've got a bunch of panthers in right now, are you interested in any?" the store goes "Yeah absolutely, what locales do you have? Oh all of them eh? Well send me me an Ambilobe and a Sambava."..

Then they arrive in the box un-marked.. the store owner has to make his best guess and put them on the shelf.. 8 months later a customer comes to Chameleonforums and goes "This lying store sold me a nosy be as an ambilobe."
