Well you could have one shipped to you when one is available. I was told that fl chams might hatch out some sometime around november. Or you could try and go to the Pamona reptile show in August, there may be a mellers for sale there. Before you buy one though, did you do your research? Do you have its cage all setup, its temps exactly right and what not?
i suggest waiting dude
make sure they are CB or at the least CH... meller babies are hard to come by, but if oyu want an already adult mellers , then try fauna, kingsnake, and other sponsors for well accimilated WC , mellers
good luck
im actually waiting and hoping to get potential CB/or CH later on

I never figured out where they get their stuff.
theyre so majestic. I remember seeing one at one of the lll reptile stores, and i was just so amazed. so huge and green. definitely worth the wait and a great experience i imagine.
for the most part LLL gets usually WC. unless specefied

call eliot or sandy at nw chameleons. they have a nice breeding group.
really i didn't know i thought all they breed was panthers and chams!!!![]()
lol panthers an chams?
there are very few melleri 'breeders' or companies that focus on breeding melleri. There are people who get lucky with a gravid WC female and hatch the eggs... and there are those who have put in their time and kept melleri long enough to establish a colonie and had success breeding them. They aren't like panthers and veileds, they don't just breed. It takes a lot of work. You will have to just keep your eye out and do research on what melleri are available. But mostly, they are WC. I am not sure why you don't want a WC melleri. If your care is any good, you'd be doing them a big favor in taking one in and making sure it has a healthy life. A lot of WC melleri do not land in homes where the keeper has much clue of how to maintain them. I have zero issue with either WC or CB or CH, I have all three. but mostly my melleri clan is WC, and they are great.
I can respect that. I just don't think they will ever stop importing them unless there is some sort of ban... and then you'll see the price sky rocket and then there will be a black market for them....
