Weird occurance

I picked up a rock I had in my chams pot and saw something moved and freaked out. So i started poking around with the long screw driver lol and out popped a beetle of some sort. Any one have this experience?! and can n e 1 fill me in on how it got there?

Do you feed your chams superworms? They do pupate into beetles.

If you feed superworms, your cham missed one and it was in the cage long enough to turn into a beetle. Next the beetles lay eggs, eggs hatch and so it goes.

That happened to me when I was little. The pupae were like aliens!

I let a couple of superworms go in my plant a couple weeks back. Do you think they will pupate into beetles? If so is it safe for my cham to eat them?

They usually won't eat the beetles.... But.. every cham is different.

OH NO! ZOMBIE BEETLES! lol Thanks I thought it might be the super worm beetle but never saw one before. Hopefully it didn't lay eggs and if it did, well I amerced the pot in water, completely flooded it for a good couple minutes hopefully that took care of things. Thanks all for the input, especially about the zombie beetles, can never be too careful!
