Weird new yellow spot on Jackson

One morning he just randomly had this yellow spot. It’s not changing color so I know it’s not a new pattern. I don’t know what it is and not knowing makes me worry... so if anyone knows...?

It’s so random. And it doesn’t look like an infection or anything bad. But I still have no idea where it came from or what it is :/

I still really new, but it doesn't look bad, the skin looks normal. It really looks like a new coloration, or maybe his pattern is changing. What age is he?

nothing bad... looks like a small lack of pigment. i may be wrong though. it can be a burn. make sure you get advice from people more well informed than i am.

He’s I think 8-10 months? And I thought it might be a new pattern too but it doesn’t change color even when he’s all dark green. I hope it’s not a burn. I don’t even know how he could get burned. The lights are too far for that... but thanks :/ I hope we can figure out exactly what it is :/

Also thanks for calling him beautiful <3 he definitely is a good looking stud. If it wasn’t so hard to breed them I wish I could help him find a girlfriend. He deserves one and like I said, he is a stud Hahaha!

doesn’t change color even when he’s all dark green

How odd. I assumed new color, because I noticed in your picture that the spot's color is same as the color on his eye socket. I'm not very experienced with chams, but if it was my guy I would just keep an eye on it. Doesn't look raised or irritated

Yeah it’s not raised or irritated. Which is so weird. Someone said it might be a very very live burn so I raised his lights up a bit more.

i wouldnt be too worried if it isnt bothering him it can just be a pigmentation problem. like vitligo in people...
