I've only had my baby J for about a week, and shes a very playful and interactive chameleon, which surprised me. When i open her cage to feed her, she runs straight to my hand to be held. But lately, (the past 2 days) shes been a really weird color in my opinion.. Almost like a dark yellow, and she kinda looks dried out, which I dont understand because i mist her cage up to 6 times a day... Her normal color is a very healthy light green.. Shes only the darker yellowish color when shes in her cage.. I feed her twice a day, 4 crickets and a large meal worm, and she eats them, but i dont understand why her color has been like this.. I think it may be a temperature thing inside her habitat, but i could be wrong.. Please help!!

Savannah, there is a good possibility she is ready to shed! They will look very drab and their skin will look kinda whitish and dried out. If you can post a pic of her that would be great!

The first two pictures are her normal coloring, and the 3rd is her color now.. She isint acting any differently that I myself have noticed..
